Scott began his career in 1988 with Shannon and Luchs, a regional company, which at the time was the third oldest real estate firm in the country. He left there to work with Prime Properties based out of Fair Lakes in Fairfax, Virginia. It was a company tied to one of the most renowned developers in the area, The Peterson Companies. Mike Saedlo has had a long and successful career in the restaurant, commercial real estate and business brokerage industries. He has held senior corporate positions as well as that of a main street entrepreneur. From the corporate perspective, Mr. Saedlo was East coast Regional Director of Operations for International House of Pancakes and Company Operations and District Manager of Gino’s restaurants in Philadelphia. Capitalizing on his corporate experience in the restaurant industry Mr. Saedlo founded the successful Philadelphia Mike’s Restaurant Franchise which operated 14 stores in the Washington, D.C. area. Presently there are still three operating in Maryland and Virginia. Transitioning from the restaurant industry, Mr. Saedlo has a successful career in commercial real estate where he was an Associate Broker with Sperry Van Ness in Frederick, MD. He has taught at the Professional Development Institute as Instructor Curriculum Developer for continual education for commercial real estate brokers. For the past 20 years, along with his real estate experience, he has also been a Business Broker. Presently the president of the Saedlo Group, he has successfully provided business brokerage services focusing on main street and the middle market. In this capacity he has helped many business owners, from a wide variety of industries, to successfully sell their businesses. the Saedlo Group has sold over $100 Million Dollars of Main Street businesses along with mid-size companies.
Joining RE/MAX Gateway in 2011, Ronya continued her more than 20-year diverse career path by entering the multifaceted world as a Real Estate Administrative Professional. Her education and experience as a legal secretary, administrative assistant for residential and commercial construction offices, management of boutique businesses in hospitality, restaurant, and lumber/PEH, as well as wine representative and various sales positions, facilitated her transition back toward her first love: real estate law and protecting others.
As an office manager and transaction coordinator, she created systems and processes for agents and office practices, implemented new technology, and assisted, and trained Realtors in the use of such. She performed as Agent Liaison, overseeing the business and licensing needs in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. As a training coordinator, she created, facilitated, and arranged superior training for agents with legal and home service providers, as well as oversaw the Fairfax and Alexandria offices as Office Coordinator, assisting agents with in-office and technology needs as well as federal, state and local real estate forms and compliance.
As the real estate world became even more technologically driven, she shifted her services into the virtual world as Remote Agent Services from a mountain top retreat in West Virginia.
